Frost Advisory Statement as of 2:23 am PST on November 23, 2009

... Frost advisory in effect until 9 am PST this morning...

The National Weather Service in Eureka has issued a frost
advisory... which is in effect until 9 am PST this morning.

Temperatures will bottom out in the lower to mid 30s by
daybreak... resulting in widespread frost. The frost will be most
prevalent in low lying areas... where calm winds will result in the
coldest temperatures.

With only a few passing high clouds... temperatures will rebound
quickly after sunrise... thus ending the threat for frost. Patchy
frost may reform again tonight but the extent of frost should be
less than this morning.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...

A frost advisory means that frost is possible. Sensitive outdoor
plants may be killed if left uncovered.
